Whose jobs?Whose jobs?

Americans get their pick of backbreaking farm jobs.

The United Farm Workers, the organization famous for their successful grape boycotts and union drives in the 60's, '70's and 80's, have launched a campaign to set the record straight about migrant farm workers and their role in the US economy.

Rather than argue about whether or not illegal immigrants and migrant farm workers are taking jobs from Americans, they're offering an easy way for Americans to take their jobs at takeourjobs.org. If this was a stunt, it would be a great PR move, but it's much more than that. The UFW is actually training and placing applicants in these difficult and highly-skilled jobs (so far, only 3 have applied), and by doing so they're forcing Americans to face the truth about their food supply and the people who make it possible.
